WORKSHOP WIGMORE STREET
Workshop Wigmore Street is the second coffee shop opened by the Workshop coffee roasters – the first one (a roastery-come-cafe) is situated on Clerkenwell Road. Both serve excellent coffee but the design of each is slightly different. Workshop Wigmore Street is a lot smaller and appears to focus more on coffee to go.
There is seating available, there’s just not that much.
I sat down for an hour or so with my espresso and panini and the place was buzzing. A whole variety of people came in and as I was sat by the shop window, it was a great spot for people watching. While the coffee is a bit dearer than other places in the area, the quality and taste make up for it.
The staff are very friendly and they sell a whole variety of beans to take away with you. If you make coffee at home and work/live in the area, it’s a great place to pick up different coffee blends. I bought a bag from the Clerkenwell branch a couple of months back and it was exquisite.
All in all, up there with the best in this part of central London.

Blue cups! What is it with blue cups? Everyone seems to have them these days! Or have I only just started to notice them?
Great pictures by the way. Your espresso looked fantastic.

I know what you mean! Everyone seems to be loving those blue cups. I first saw them in Prufrock Thanks, the espresso was indeed very tasty!
