HOLY COFFEE AT SACRED CAFE
This is the original Sacred and is a kiwi run cafe that has been serving great coffee to Londoners for a number of years now. It has two floors with a very cosy space downstairs with reassuring buddhists and candles, in case the City is all getting a little bit too much.
They roast their own coffee and it’s a typical New Zealand roast “mellow and aromatically complex with a full body, moderate acidity and nutty/earthy flavours” guaranteed to make you come back for more. Like the majority of the antipodean cafes, Sacred knows how to do a killer flat white!
PS They are also big time into tea and offer a range of different varieties, stocking herbal/Ayurvedic loose lease teas which I am sure will be music to the ears of those tea lovers out there.
