Pavilion Cafe is a lovely cafe in a very picturesque setting. It is situated on the edge of the Victoria Park lake and serves delicious food and excellent coffee. It has a very friendly atmosphere with lots of prams and dogs around the place.

I opted for a double espresso (Sweetshop Square Mile Blend) and some fried eggs. The coffee was flavourful and the eggs were a delight. The eggs came with shredded mint on top (something I had never tried before). This flavour combination was like the cherry on top of the cake.

I sat outside overlooking Victoria Park lake and the fountain and swans provided a very relaxing setting in which I could appreciate the fine food and coffee. If you live in the area or fancy a day trip to one of London’s most underrated parks, a visit to Pavilion Cafe is a must.
