OZONE COFFEE, A WELCOME EXPORT FROM NZ
Ozone Coffee Roasters ticks all the boxes. It also creates new ones. This has to be on everyone’s “to go to” list. It’s a great place to take friends who are visiting London or simply those that want to find a cool place to enjoy coffee. I could write an essay on the positives of this place but I know your average Londoner is not rich with time.
I’ll keep this short and sweet.
The place opened its doors this March and has been an instant hit ever since. It is the UK branch of a New Zealand coffee company and like many kiwi coffee shops in London, the coffee is exquisite. They also provide you tap water in what appears to be an old milk jug to accompany your coffee, a very nice touch.
The shop itself has two floors and caters to all customers. Whether you are coming for a business meeting, a date, or simply just seeing a friend, they have the perfect booth or table for you. The design of the shop is very quaint and their attention to detail is pleasantly surprising. It’s definitely the first coffee shop I have been to which has Molton Brown in the toilets.
The décor is cool and the service is perfect. Full of smiles and helpful info about the coffee, the staff even managed to leave me (a pretty cynical Londoner) beaming as I left the shop. I was told there are seven different beans in their house blend and it didn’t surprise me at all. The flavour of the coffee is very complex and highly enjoyable.
