Muxima Cafe & Lounge is an eclectic space keeping the good people of Bow well caffeinated and exposed to both culture and art. I opted for a macchiato (seem to be going for that a lot lately) made with Bean About Town and it was very tasty.
Coffee aside, Muxima cafe is a local and international art hub. They have exhibitions and installations which usually change on a monthly basis. Just recently they’ve started a monthly event called ‘Jazz Sundays’ which I am most definitely going to be checking out!
Muxima is coming up to its first birthday this February. It already holds a special place in local hearts. Accordingly the cafe has gained recognition from Grazia who recently awarded Muxima the ‘best coffee shop in East London’ award, testament to Muxima’s progress in producing fine coffee and artistic displays.
Coupled with Carmelite, this area of Bow is extremely fortunate to have two excellent coffee shops.
