Maison d’être

Save the name, I’m not sure there is much FCUK here but the place has a very continental feel nonetheless.

Fresh pastries and Nude Espresso Coffee rule, although they do stock Tea Pigs, offering a variety of tasty teas, in case you’re not feeling like a coffee.

All their ingredients are fresh so make sure to try the food. I’ve been told the soup is very good, a nice winter warmer with the cold fast approaching.

For me though Maison d’être’s Unique Selling Point  is the conservatory. Filled with beautiful looking objects that together form a very quaint space, it’s simply a delight to sit there with a friend and catch up.

There’s also the added bonus of a record player. I’m not sure if you can bring your own record in to accompany your coffee but it’s definitely worth asking.
