LEILA’S SHOP
Leila’s Shop, a stone’s throw away (perhaps quite a large throw) from Shoreditch Church is marvellous. It is split in to two sections: one is a cafe, the other a shop selling gourmet food stuffs.
As you can see from the pictures below, the quality and variety of the produce in the shop is exceptional. I bought two different varieties of mushroom to use for a risotto, contributing to a very flavourful dish.
Both the shop and the cafe have a very rustic feel to them. Each facet of the place is simple but perfect.
At the cafe, I opted for a salad and although there were only a few components, it was a well balanced and delicious meal. They serve Coleman coffee, which I tried for the first time and thought was excellent. I’m very much looking forward to trying more of their stuff!
Leila’s is in walking distance from my flat so I’ll be sure to make another visit very soon – for both coffee and veg.

Always a good sign! Sounds a lovely place.
You know that if you publish enough of these, I will be able to triangulate an exact position of where you live? Then I can come round and demand coffee in person…
Keep up the good work!
Brian.
