J and A Cafe

J and A Cafe is a cosy cafe nestled in between Clerkenwell Road and Great Sutton Street. It’s more of a cafe than a coffee shop but I decided to write about it because it serves good coffee and is a bit different compared to a lot of other places I have been to.

The owners have tried to emulate a home away from home where you can walk in and instantly feel very comfortable. They’ve definitely succeeded. The whole experience did make me feel like I was at home. As I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and shown to a seat. They serve delicious looking fresh food and also a special blend made for them by J Atkinson & Co, a roasters who make award winning filter coffee. It was different to all the coffee that I have had over the past few weeks. Maybe someone who knows more can tell me why? In any case, this is a great cafe.
