FLAT CAP STRUTTON GROUND
Flat Cap Strutton Ground is a coffee cart at the top end of Strutton Ground Market. If you’re passing through Strutton Ground, you won’t miss it. It is literally right in the middle of the street.
I noticed that there were quite a few Starbucks in the area but that doesn’t seem to affect this plucky coffee purveyor, which is pretty packed every time I go. This might be because (just like the Flat Cap on Fleet Street), they serve a mean double espresso.
They use Square Mile but soon will be shifting to the coffee roasted up in King’s Cross by their parent coffee shop, Notes. This has been in the works for quite some time now, so we can expect some great things from this coffee when it finally arrives!
Flat Cap’s friendly service coupled with the expertise of its baristas make it one of the best places to get coffee in this part of London. So if you find yourself in Westminster, make sure you stop by.
