BEA’S OF BLOOMSBURY, THE CAKE CONNOISSEURS
Bea’s of Bloomsbury knows its cake, creating fantastic flavour combinations to tempt those with a sweet tooth. I decided to go for a cupcake and it was delicious, probably one of the best I have ever had, come to think about it.
When it comes to food, emphasis is placed on using seasonal ingredients. They have also transformed their rooftop into a herb and vegetable garden adding a new meaning to the phrase ‘fresh food’.
They serve Square Mile Coffee and while the coffee is good, it is the cake that take centre stage. This is more of a cafe than a coffee shop so if it’s just a coffee you’re after I would recommend another of London’s wonderful coffee shops.
